Deliciously pungent and big, this curry is best served with steamed rice (flavoured with a little lime juice and coriader) and apple chutney.

Lovely rich spicy pork curry great with steamed rice and Roti.

Serves 4 - 6

Preparation time:  5-10 minutes
Cooking time: 40 minutes

 What you need with Spiced with Love kit:

500g pork shoulder or neck, cubed

1 tablespoon oil

1 medium onion sliced

2 garlic cloves crushed

1 inch ginger (about 20-25g) grated

4 green chillis (less if you prefer mild)

300 ml of Water

Juice and zest of 1 lime just before serving


1.Marinate the pork in Spiced with Love curry powder.

2.Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan and add the onion, chillis, ginger and garlic. Cook over medium heat until onions are translucent (5-10 mins).

3.Add the marinated pork and mix well with the paste.

4.Add water to cover the pork, bring to the boil and simmer for 40 minutes or until the pork is tender and cooked through.

5.Stir occasionally and add more water as required.

Delicious served with steamed rice and Roti or Naan Bread to mop up the gravy!
